Kiki’s Klinikal Dilemmas Presents: Lady Mary!!! Michelle Dockery…an ed grand rounds

Our last grand rounds featured our BB Queen and was the first psychic grand rounds on record!! The BB Queen’s shrink said to me…you did this from 3500 miles away to which I replied, I could have done this from next door…it was all in the photos. Then we cried on each other’s shoulders because neither of us would see her again. I hope against hope I’ll run into her slopping the hogs at my shuel again!

We now present a new grand rounds, albeit with a few limitations. Dates are bit off, photos are a bit off but I am not…not a bit off.

Who will we be reviewing? Lady Mary Grantham none other than Michelle Dockery. I’ve been binge watching Downton Abbey and I thank the cast again for showing up in my gym. Lady Mary at some point drew pale on the show like the blood had run out of her and I decided to review some photos to see if I could pick up some clues. Who’m I kidding? Michelle is really hot and I wanted to look at some photos of her. Ok, so she really wasn’t wearing much but that’s not my fault it’s what came up when you google this. I also decided to have a strong talk with my nephew.

Anyway here’s a blurry photo of Michelle Dockery.

Beautiful lady, no doubt.

Above is her in Good Behavior. notice anything interesting about her besides the obvious? I’ll put up another photo.

Do you see the scar on her chest? Midline scar on the chest leading to the upper abdomen. Let’s look at another photo.

This show is Godless from 2017 and shows the same midline scar but in all it’s glory. One more below…

Same midline scar. One more photo below from 2014…

No midline scarring noted back in 2014.

What can we summarize from this?

  1. It appears Michelle had open heart surgery.
  2. The surgery would likely have been sometime between 2014 and 2016 or perhaps a little earlier like 2013.
  3. She does get weak and pale at some point on Downton Abbey.
  4. I suspect the photos from Godless demonstrate her actual post-surgical lesion and the photo from Good Behavior shows a healing scar.
  5. I believe Godless was in the can before Good Behavior was aired unless the surgical lesion was made up with make-up on top of scarring but I don’t believe this.
  6. Whoever filmed Michelle with the open lesion was a genius and Michelle was a great sport doing it and a super actress.

It’s hard to get crisp photos these days and photos from film are not as good as regular photos. I won’t go through the differential for open heart surgery in a 30ish year old woman but as always, until proven otherwise a rapid deceleration injury is high on my list.

Maybe more to come, I’ll take a last look for other useful photos.

Ed Out!

Kiki Presents: Ed’s Update Post: Ron Howard’s “Pavarotti”

I update the Pavarotti heading to say:

Kiki Presents: Ed’s Film Review: Ron Howard’s “Pavarotti”

I just thought it was hysterically funny giving Luciano Pavarotti fourth billing on the post heading despite the film being about him!

…and anyway the guy is dead, what’s he gonna do come back from the grave to bust my stones like my parents did with George Bush Jr.? I plan on never dying so I don’t have to face them when I’m dead for whatever misgivings they have for me when they were alive. I wouldn’t talk with them, 17 years of psychoanalysis and they come back from the grave to hit me with Jewish Guilt!!! They could just be proud of me? Forget the stuff I’ve accomplished not even the Jewish Doctor thing would help!!! My father never liked the psychiatrist thing. He said and I quote, “No matter how you slice it, it’s all boloney!!!”

Kiki’s Movie Review: MAIDEN!!!!!

Review from FB

Movie Review: Maiden
This was a knock it out of the park documentary which was more engaging and exciting than almost anything I’ve seen in the last year. It scored a 99% on the tomato meter (who was the dip-a-doo who didn’t like the film?) 95% with the audience score, it would have scored 100% except 4 people complained that the gals should have worn a bikini and not a one piece during one of the legs of the race and 1 person felt the gals should not have been wearing swimsuits at all but instead their usual sailing gear. The film was phenomenal and don’t allow me to cheapen it with the same crudeness the ladies had to endure during the race. It’s a film for the whole family and should not be missed by anyone! 10/10 on the Ed-Meter!! (BTW, thank you to the crew and the others for showing up in Cape May last week. I spotted at least a few of you.) Thanks to Ron for setting this up.

Kiki Presents…Ed’s trip to Omega

This is my post from Facebook, after my signature comes the back story.

Back from my trip to The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck NY. I had a really good time and people were very nice, all around. I swam, walked, ate and communed with nice people and nature. I had a footloose massage, focus on feet and calves after all my walking and the gal was terrific, very polite and friendly as were the staff! Also, I was sent something in email to give feedback on the process which I really appreciated since the time before last I had a few complaints which it looks like they worked on. I felt warm and welcomed by pretty much everyone, lots of smiles, nice people. Theres an online catalogue of courses there and you should check it out. I did R and R, I could barely get on a schedule for my massage so a whole course was out of the question. Beautiful people and a great time. I left early so missed a massage but I was glad to get home and put some closure on things. Worth a look. E

I did have a wonderful time but I left early because I was lonely and bored, my fault no one else’s. Resolved some issues from previous trips and that was important. I was in the middle of two groups and there were a lot more men, real men, guys who looked like they could be in any industry and women who worked there had taken on more job roles held by men like driving the golf carts and shlepping luggage. There seemed to be less men are second class citizens sentiment all around which was a pleasure. Men visiting were accepted and embraced and valued. It could have been the groups that came in, and maybe other weeks will be different but the male guests were valued greatly.

I was stalked less than before. The women were as usual impossible to spot. In four visits I’ve never spotted one. Possibly two or three solo pilots more easily spotted because of their seasoned, hardened worn-down attitudes like, “I have to do this?!” Two guys though I put at about 99% probable agency of some sort. Nice enough but dressed in black and looked like mercenaries. One scheduled a massage while I was there and I spoke with him for a minute, they really looked out of place and this guy looked like he could break my arm in split second!!! Poor little old me!!! I told him that he and his buddy were really pretty big for this place. He said they were going to play basketball later which wasn’t what I meant. Then he went to the water cooler, had a sip and thought that I didn’t look like much and didn’t seem as bad as they made me out to be. You have to give them credit for trying. The other guy before he left kissed his two fingers and placed them on the heart of the really big guy in a show of New Age affection. It didn’t work for me but it was cute and they were trying!

Loved the footloose massage but the masseuse caught me listening to her thoughts at one point and said, “…and I think he’s listening to my thoughts.” I won’t tell you what she was thinking but it was worth the price of admission.

The restaurant reopened outside of Omega called the Golden Russet and made sure to be there for the Grand Opening. It was a soft opening, just for breakfast and after I paid my check I gave them an extra dollar to hang on the wall board for good luck. I wrote Ed on it and I’ll post some pictures later.

They’ll have wine and beer and someone came in while I was there to question whether they were selling it yet. Lets wish them luck because frankly this place is the only store in walking distance of the place.

Kiki’s Beached Whales: How Ed’s study of The Wick Effect in explaining the cause of Spontaneous Human Combustion can be used to eliminate beached whales

See below for explanation of Wick Effect.

By covering the beached whales with cloth and setting ablaze with lighter fluid the clothing serves as a wick like on a candle and the animals fat will burn the body down slowly to virtually nothing. A human’s body will burn to hands and feet as will a hog’s down to the paws.

An enclose is likely needed by the shore to prevent winds from blowing out the fires. The carcass may need to be dragged from the water. Whales are extremely fatty and will burn beautifully, though it may take a while to completely burn it’s likely faster than smelly decomposition.

This needs to be passed on to those in Washington State. This is cheap, easy and reliable. It may also be a safer, greener and less costly way to do human cremations.

Cetacean stranding, commonly known as beaching, is a phenomenon in which whales and dolphins strand themselves on land, usually on a beach. Beached whales often die due to dehydration, collapsing under their own weight, or drowning when high tide covers the blowhole.[1] Several explanations for why cetaceans strand themselves have been proposed, but none have so far been universally accepted as a definitive reason for the behavior. A link between mass beaching of beaked whales and the use of mid-frequency active sonar however have been found.

Wick effect

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJump to navigationJump to search

The wick effect is the name given to the partial destruction of a human body by fire, when the clothing of the victim soaks up melted human fat and acts like the wick of a candle. The wick effect is a phenomenon that is found to occur under certain conditions, and has been thoroughly observed. It is one commonly offered explanation for the alleged phenomenon of spontaneous human combustion (SHC).

Contents

The wick effect theory says a person is kept aflame through his/her own fats after being ignited, accidentally or otherwise. The clothed human body acts like an “inside-out” candle, with the fuel source (human fat) inside and the wick (the clothing of the victim) outside. Hence there is a continuous supply of fuel in the form of melting fat seeping into the victim’s clothing. Fat contains a large amount of energy due to the presence of long hydrocarbon chains.[1]

Mary Reeser (1884–1951) of St. Petersburg, Florida was most likely a victim of spontaneous human combustion. It was suspected that she’d accidentally ignited herself with a cigarette. The fat which over time had been absorbed by her clothing likely acted as fuel for the fire. At the scene, investigators found melted fat in the rug near Mary’s body.

An investigation of a 1963 case in Leeds included an experiment with a wick effect. A small portion of human fat was wrapped in cloth to simulate clothing. A Bunsen burner flame was then applied to the ‘candle’. Due to the high water content of human fat the flame had to be held on the ‘candle’ for over a minute before it would catch fire:

This gives some indication of the slow speed with which the wick effect will proceed.

In February 1991, in woodland near MedfordOregonUSA, two hikers came across the burning body of a female adult, lying face down in fallen leaves. They alerted the officials and a local deputy sheriff soon arrived. The victim was described as “well nourished”[dubious – discuss]. She had been stabbed several times in the upper regions of the chest and back. Both arms were spread outwards from the torso. The lower legs and surface of the neck showed signs of fire damage. The soft tissues of the right arm, torso and upper legs were consumed. The majority of bones of these parts retained their integrity, although friability was increased. Between mid-chest and knees the fleshy parts of the body were mostly destroyed. Crime scene personnel reported that the pelvis and spine were “not recoverable”, having been reduced to a grey powder. Her killer had soaked the clothes and corpse in nearly a pint of barbecue starter fluid and set her on fire. In the well-oxygenated outdoor environment, this combination of circumstances—an immobile and clothed body with a high fat-to-muscle ratio, accelerant (lighter fluid), and artificial ignition—made it prime for the wick effect to occur. The murderer was arrested and made a full confession. He claimed to have set the body alight some thirteen hours before it was discovered.[3]

A larger scale experiment conducted for the BBC television programme Q.E.D. involved a dead pig’s body being wrapped in a blanket and placed in a furnished room. The blanket was lit with the aid of a small amount of petrol. The body took some time to ignite and burned at a very high temperature with low flames. The heat collected at the top of the room and melted a television. However, the flames caused very little damage to the surroundings, and the body burned for a number of hours before it was extinguished and examined. On examination it was observed that the flesh and bones in the burnt portion had been destroyed.[4]

In October 2006, the body of a man was discovered at home in Geneva, almost completely incinerated between the mid-chest and the knees, most probably due to heart attack while smoking, followed by the wick effect. The chair containing the body was mostly consumed, but other objects in the room were almost undamaged, albeit covered with a brown oily or greasy coating. The source of the fire was most likely a cigarette or cigar. The man’s dog also died in another room of the man’s apartment; this was attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning.[5]

In December 2010, the cremated body of a man was found in his home in Clareview Park at Ballybane in the Irish city of Galway (Parris-Long, 2011). The fire investigators concluded that no accelerants were used and that the open fireplace was not the cause of the fire. The coroner in the case could not identify the cause of the death due to extensive internal organ damage and concluded that “this [case] fits into the category of spontaneous human combustion, for which there is no adequate explanation”.[6]
